In the winter of 2012, many parts of the Republic of Srpska were afflicted with snow storms. Helicopter service of RS managed, in extreme weather conditions, to come to people who were completely cut off and bring to them the most needed in form of medicines and food. Many of them were medically endangered and they were evacuated to the nearest hospitals.
