Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska Completed Three Successful Air Medical Transports
The Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska carried out three successful air medical transports yesterday, once again confirming its crucial role in providing emergency assistance. The first transport was carried out from Banja Luka to Trebinje, where the helicopter transported a patient who had been urgently transferred to the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska the previous day. On the return flight from Trebinje to Banja Luka, another patient was transported, who had been admitted to the hospital due to a recurrent heart attack followed by severe arrhythmia. The patient was sent to the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska for coronary angiography and further treatment. The third transport was carried out due to adverse weather conditions and snow drifts around Banja Luka. The helicopter was deployed to transport an elderly patient from the village of Kola, who suddenly fell ill. The patient experienced symptoms of suffocation, and his overall health condition required urgent transport to the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska. Last year, the Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska carried out a total of 82 air medical transports, and since the establishment of the air medical transport service, the total number of completed transports has reached 477. We wish all our followers happy holidays, good health, and happiness in the New Year! 🎄✨
