Air medical transport Trebinje – Banja Luka 22.08.2024.

On August 22, 2024, in the afternoon hours, members of the Helicopter Service and doctors from the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska successfully carried out an air medical transport from Trebinje to Banja Luka.

The patient, K.G., born in 1968, was diagnosed with kidney failure and required urgent hemodialysis. She was transported by emergency air medical transport at the request of the General Hospital Trebinje to the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska for continued treatment.

This was the 46th air medical transport of the year for the air medical transport service, further demonstrating their readiness to be at the service of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska at any time and respond to all requests promptly.

Air medical transport Trebinje – Banja Luka 17.08.2024.

Today, the Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska temporarily suspended firefighting operations near Berkovići to respond to an urgent call from the General Hospital in Trebinje. Our crew immediately redirected the aircraft for the medical transport of a patient who required urgent pacemaker implantation at the University Clinical Center in Banja Luka.

As emphasized by the Director of the Helicopter Service, Boban Kusturić: “Human lives are our absolute priority. Saving lives is our most important mission, both in a humanitarian and professional sense.”

Thanks to the quick action of our team, patient R.R. (born in 1939) was successfully transported for the necessary medical intervention.

Air medical transport Podgorica – Belgrade 07.08.2024.

The Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska has successfully carried out another air medical transport, this time from Podgorica to Belgrade. The patient, identified as D.B., born in 2003, suffered a severe injury to his left leg and, after surgical treatment at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, was transported for further treatment at the Orthopedic and Traumatology Clinic of the Military Medical Academy (VMA).

This transport, carried out with full medical support, enabled the patient to access specialized care at a high level. Thanks to the timely response of the air medical transport team, the patient is in stable general condition and continues his treatment.

The Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska continues to provide crucial support in emergency medical cases, significantly contributing to the improvement of the healthcare system over the past 10 years. Today’s transport was the 44th successful air medical transport since the beginning of this year.

Air medical transport Banja Luka – Belgrade 03.08.2024.

On August 3, 2024, in the afternoon hours, members of the Helicopter Service and doctors from the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska carried out an air medical transport of a patient from Banja Luka to Belgrade.

The patient, identified as M.G., born in 1971, was diagnosed with aortic dissection. She was transferred to the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases in Dedinje for surgical intervention and further treatment.

This was the 42nd air medical transport carried out by the service since the beginning of the year.
