Air medical transports 13.12.2024.

On December 13, 2024, in the afternoon hours, members of the Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska and doctors from the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska successfully carried out two air medical transports.

The first transport was from Banja Luka to Trebinje. The patient, D.T. (born in 1989), was transported from the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska to the General Hospital in Trebinje. The patient was discharged from the Neurology Clinic, and is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

After completing the first transport and handing over the patient to the General Hospital in Trebinje, the second transport was carried out from Trebinje to Banja Luka. The patient, S.B. (born in 1979), is diagnosed with Myasthenia gravis susp. The patient was successfully transported to the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, where further treatment will continue.

With these two transports, the Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska and the team of doctors from the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska have successfully carried out a total of 72 air medical transports during 2024.

Air medical transport Trebinje – Banja Luka 04.11.2024.

Today, a successful air medical transport of patient B.G. (born in 1966) was carried out from Trebinje to Banja Luka by the Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska. The patient was transported due to serious health conditions – bleeding in the cerebellum (haemorrhagia cerebelli l.sin.) and an aneurysm of the vertebral artery (anaeurysma art. vertebralis l.dex). With a swift response and coordination of the team, a safe transport was ensured for the patient, who requires urgent medical care. With this transport, the Helicopter Service of the Republic of Srpska has completed its 69th air medical transport this year, providing essential assistance to patients across the Republic of Srpska.
